  2. Plots which are located away from the harbour area and have no direct access to the waters.

This allows the Free Zone to get a unique advantage in terms of features and functionalities of the ports and also helps in decreasing the cost of fuel used. The other features, such as the availability of the deepwater berths, exclusive jetty’s and quay wall resent in the Free Zone are next to none.
